A short coastal hop up to the Latvian capital.
After an excellent breakfast in Palanga we headed back to the airport to leave for Riga (EVRA), capital of Latvia. Since our plan was to fly along the coastline of Latvia the following day on our way to Kuressaare (EEKE), Estonia, we decided to explore the countryside of Lithuania and Latvia from above. We followed our VFR flight plan and enjoyed the view of small towns as well as industrial cities along the route. Since this flight took us only 1,5 hrs, we arrived early in Riga and had plenty of time to visit the old city center. Riga is an amazing city with lots of small streets, churches and old buildings worthwhile exploring.
