Her bicycle and my e-scooter both go in the back, which does wonders for our radius.
One of the first properly sunny days of spring, so we pointed the Grumman north for the short hop to Egelsbach and called on Isabella’s aunt Marion and her cousins Valentina and Marius. There was sunshine, a garden café and — Emiliana’s verdict on the whole enterprise — ice cream. By the time we climbed away for home she had done quite enough flying for one day, and slept the entire way back to Weißenhorn.
